Louis Smith will FaceTime his dog during Olympics

Louis Smith wants to video message his dog while he’s competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil this summer.
The pommel horse champion is devastated he has to leave his pet pooch Luna behind while he takes part in the major sporting competition abroad but has admitted he’ll keep up to date with her life by FaceTiming her while she’s staying with his mum.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "She will stay with my mum at my house while I’m at Rio. But if she can’t look after her then we have a kennel in the village with eight acres of farm field so they love Luna there. I think she gets special treatment because they know she’s mine."
He added with a chuckle: "I will probably FaceTime her while I’m gone. My mum has done it twice before with her."
Meanwhile, the 27-year-old hunk is looking forward to representing his country in gymnastics next month.
He explained: "You know what, training is going really well. My body is feeling relatively good. No injuries or anything like that. So I’m currently up here training with the squad. We go to a training camp from July 25 until July 31 in Portugal. And we literally just train, eat sleep. And then we fly to Brazil, the opening ceremony is on August 5, so all that time we’re training, staying focused, eating healthy, going to bed early. You know staying pretty diligent, it’s pretty boring really."
Louis and Purina are working together to help create a better world for people and pets.
