Louis CK dropped from Secret Life of Pets sequel

Louis C.K. has been dropped from the ‘Secret Life of Pets’ sequel.
The 50-year-old comedian and actor was the subject of a New York Times report earlier this week that claimed he had exposed himself and masturbated in front of at least five women in cases starting from 2002, and now Universal and Illumination Animation have announced they have "terminated their relationship" with him so he will no longer voice main dog Max in the planned second film.
The studio said in a statement: "Universal Pictures and Illumination have terminated their relationship with Louis C.K. on ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’."
The movie is scheduled to be released in June 2019.
The news is the latest blow to hit the star – who has admitted the allegations against him are true – after The Orchard announced they are no longer planning to release his movie ‘I Love You, Daddy’ later this month.
They said: "The Orchard will not be moving forward with the release of ‘I Love You, Daddy’."
The comic has also been dropped by APA, 3 Arts and his publicist, while FX Networks and FX Productions have terminated their deal with his production company Pig Newton.
FX said in a statement: "He will no longer serve as executive producer or receive compensation on any of the four shows we were producing with him — ‘Better Things’, ‘Baskets’, ‘One Mississippi’ and ‘The Cops’."
Louis admitted the allegations about him were "true" – but he felt his behaviour was "OK" at the time because he always asked before exposing himself.
He said: "These stories are true. At the time, I said to myself that what I did was OK because I never showed a woman my d**k without asking first. But what I learned later in life, too late, is that when you have power over another person, asking them to look at your d**k isn’t a question. It’s a predicament for them."
