Lorraine Kelly praises husband

Lorraine Kelly "couldn’t do" her presenting job without the support of her husband Steve Smith.
The 56-year-old presenter and former cameraman – who got married in 1992 and have daughter Rosie, 22, together – met on set in the early 80s and believe the secret to their happy marriage is not only loving each other, but liking each other.
She gushed: "It’s 25 years next year and we’ve been together since 1984. The secret? Gosh, well I’m away all week and only go home at the weekends! No, I just think we really like each other. Obviously, we love each other, but we like each other and have fun. Steve was my cameraman, so we went from being together 24/7 to just weekends. We’ve lived through all the extremes, and it still works really well. He’s a good lad. I couldn’t do what I do without him."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty admitted she has the "best job on telly" presenting early-morning show ‘Lorraine’.
She told New! magazine: "I’ve got the best job on telly. It doesn’t get any better than having your own show with your name on it! You never know what’s going to happen because it’s live. We’ve got a plan, of course, but often a story breaks and you have to change things. I like when it’s all happening and you get to meet some amazing people."
And the TV star said her favourite interviewees were Hollywood stars Tom Hanks and Hugh Jackman.
She added: "Tom’s the nicest man. He and Hugh Jackman are my two all-time favourites because they’re human beings. I remember saying to Hugh Jackman, ‘I wish they were all like you and Tom Hanks’ and he said, ‘It’s my job!’ "
