Lord Sugar dishes out double firing in Apprentice

Harrison Jones and Jade English have been fired from ‘The Apprentice’.
Viewers are used to seeing candidates get axed one-by-one week-by-week, but Lord Sugar took a cut-throat approach in tonight’s (06.12.17) episode of the reality TV show as he pointed his finger and booted two potential business partners from the competition following their poor performance in the fashion designing task.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Harrison said: "I’m gutted to have missed out on the final five but I’ve had an amazing experience and I’m looking forward to launching my business in the New Year, Equals Health – a healthy eating brand."
The handsome wannabe businessman was the first one to get fired after Lord Sugar – who will dish out £250,000 to his winner later this month – claimed he didn’t think he’d done anything worthy of praise throughout the entire competition.
Lord Sugar said: "I think I’ve heard enough, so I’m going to try and summarise…
"Jade, you admitted all of the errors and mistakes that were made in this task.
"But Harrison, I don’t know what you did on this task. In fact I’ve had a bit of a problem understanding what you did on other tasks. It is with regret, you’re fired."
Clearly thinking she was in the all-clear Jade breathed a sigh of relief – as did Sarah who was also in the boardroom defending her position in the competition – but her whole world came crashing down seconds later when she too was give the axe.
The 72-year-old business magnate added: "I’ve got to make some important decisions here today. Jade, this was a big mess up…you’re fired."
And, although she’s understandably disappointed, Jade isn’t going to let her departure stop her from chasing her dreams and working on her business plan.
She said: "I walked into that boardroom and thought: ‘Right, he’s going to have to get rid of two people here.’ because obviously he can only take five through to the final and then he fired Harrison and I thought: ‘Surely I’ve done enough? Maybe this year there’s going to be a final six and I’ve made it.’
"And then I got the finger pointed at me and I was gutted … But if anything, it’s inspired me more to go on and chase my dreams. I’ve got a business plan that still needs investment in and it’s re-sparked my love for broadcast journalism."
