Loose Women to tour UK

A ‘Loose Women’ tour is set to hit the road later this year.
The show entitled ‘An Evening With Loose Women’ will reportedly see regular panellists Janet Street-Porter and Andrea McLean bring the usually studio-based programme to theatres across the UK to mark 20 years of the lunchtime chat show.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "The ladies and their team felt this was the perfect way for ‘Loose Women’ to celebrate 20 years on our screens. And the tour will remind us all why they’ve been such a success for so long."
The popular show has won numerous awards over the years and is still regarded as one of the most successful programmes to grace screens every day.
The first episode in 1999 saw Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Karren Brady on the panel, with Ruth Langsford joining the second episode.
Last year the show was hit with false claims that bosses were planning on axing some of the panellists.
However, a spokesperson denied the reports, and insisted they plan to preserve the popularity of their programme by keeping their most-loved panellists.
They told BANG Showbiz: "We’ve just started a new series, ratings are up and all of our popular panellists are here to stay."
‘Loose Women’ has also seen the likes of Katie Price, Kerry Katona and Sherrie Hewson discuss the hottest topics.
Ruth, Andrea and Christine Lampard are the main presenters, with guest panellists including Stacey Solomon, Mel B, Penny Lancaster and Linda Robson often dropping by.
Meanwhile, Coleen Nolan was recently forced to take an "immediate hiatus" from the show.
After having an on-air spat with her former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ co-star Kim Woodburn – with whom she has a long running feud – she later received harsh criticism from online trolls who told her they hope she "dies like [her] sister" Bernie Nolan, who passed away from breast cancer aged 52 in 2013.
And after dropping out of her scheduled appearances on the ITV talk show, her team revealed she won’t be coming back to the programme for some time.
They said: "Following the constant online bullying, trolling, and misrepresentation of her words, actions and re-actions, it is with sad regret that Coleen is taking an immediate hiatus from all her current commitments including Loose Women and postponing her Never Too Late solo concert tour.
"Coleen has spent 50 years in show-business and 18 years as one of the most loved members of the Loose Women panel, and has never been subjected to such a horrifying torrent of online abuse or such a heart-breaking attack on her reputation.
"Coleen is devastated to let her supporters and fans down, but is currently not strong enough to withstand this constant and unfounded online abuse, so she will be taking time out and spending it with her children and family where she feels loved and respected.
"She sends her love to everyone who has supported her and knows who she really is and plans to return when she feels stronger."
