Loose Women ladies banned from real talk

The ‘Loose Women’ ladies are banned from saying a lot of things on screen.
Coleen Nolan – who has sat on the panel on and off for the past 16 years – has admitted the panelists have a meeting with lawyers every morning before they go on air to discuss the topics of the day but they’re quite often told to reel in their opinions.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the TV Choice Awards in London on Monday (05.09.17), Coleen said: "I love having a job sitting around with your girlfriends, that’s what it is really sitting around having a gossip and a chat, saying what you feel.
"The morning meeting is great but it would never get passed the lawyers! They have to run everything past lawyers before we go on and so much we say in the morning meetings… they say: ‘They can’t say that!’ We have great fun."
The 52-year-old presenter is sometimes made the anchor over the summer period when Christine Lampard, Andrea McLean and Ruth Langsford are on holiday.
She explained: "I love covering the anchor seat but I do only get to do it in the summer when they are on holiday. I always get nervous but I’m enjoying it more and more.
"Our three main anchors are brilliant, I just stand in…I’m so comfortable in seat two where I have been for 16 years and anchoring is a completely different job, so I am very lucky that I get to do the two and I am happy with that."
And, although she thoroughly enjoys her job, Coleen sometimes struggles to get up.
She added: "It’s like any job some night before you think: ‘Argh I don’t wanna get up in the morning.’ I come from Manchester and I get up at 4:30 am and sometimes you think: ‘I just don’t want to go.’ But we are so lucky to have the job in which we have got."
