Little Mix axe shows

Little Mix cancelled two gigs yesterday (31.03.16), hours before they were due to take to the stage.
The ‘Black Magic’ hitmakers announced minutes after doors had opened at the SSE Arena in Belfast – where they were due to perform both matinee and evening shows – that they would not be able to take to the stage as Jesy Nelson had fallen ill.
A statement on their Twitter page read: "Little Mix have unfortunately had to cancel both of their arena shows in Belfast today.
"Sadly Jesy is unwell and unable to sing, and as a result both the matinee and evening shows are cancelled. Little Mix would like to apologise to their fans.
"Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets and await further news."
The cancellation came after "emotional" Jesy cried on stage the night before.
She told the audience: "If you’re ever feeling c**p about yourself or your not feeling confident, this is exactly why we wrote this song. God, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.
"I’m so emotional."
The short notice cancellation left many young fans devastated.
Leanne Gilmore, from Portadown, Co Armagh, had taken a day off work to take her seven-year-old daughter Lola to the gig and said the youngster was "inconsolable" when venue staff told them the show was off.
She said: "She just broke down crying, saying ‘I hate Little Mix, I hate this, they’ve ruined my Easter holidays, they’ve ruined my Christmas presents’. "The tears were tripping her but what can you do I just had to keep telling her, they’ll be on again, and hopefully it will be sorted.
"I think these bands just get a little too big for their boots, I don’t know I’ve watched enough TV programmes lately where there has only been three members of Little Mix on stage so I don’t know why the whole show has to be cancelled for one member."
Sineann Curtis and her daughters Grace, 12, and Cara, eight, had travelled from Liverpool for the gig and they won’t be able to make any rescheduled performance.
She told Belfast Live: "We were driving towards the Odyssey and just heard it on the radio, the poor kids, their wee faces, they were gutted…
"And now we’re going home on Saturday so even if they reschedule they couldn’t go. It was going to be Cara’s first concert as well so she’s so disappointed.
"It’s such a shame for us, you wouldn’t mind if we lived in Belfast and could just go again but we’ll not be here."
