Little Mix announce Nicki Minaj collaboration

Little Mix and Nicki Minaj will reveal their new collaboration ‘Woman Like Me’ later this month.
The ‘Black Magic’ hitmakers confirmed the news over the weekend as they announced the release date for the highly anticipated single – taken from their upcoming fifth studio album – as well as sharing a teaser of what to expect.
In a tweet signed off "the girls", they revealed the track will be released on October 12, and it’s clear Nicki is excited for the song to hit the airwaves.
Alongside four heart emojis, she wrote: "Thank you for having me, girls. Love this song!!! #WomanLikeMe"
The group – made up of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock – were quick to show that the feeling’s mutual with a gushing response on social media.
They replied: "QUEEN… Can’t wait for people to hear this! #WomanLikeMe Love you x"
Meanwhile, Jade recently opened up on the band’s next record – the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Glory Days’ – ahead of its release in November.
She revealed the LP will feature "a lot of female empowerment", and admitted the band are desperate to give the fans some new music.
She previously said: "This is definitely my favorite album. You can tell it’s come from us.
"There’s a lot of female empowerment, lots of songs give a nod to being yourself… I’m really excited for this album. We’re definitely ready to release something. We’re missing having our music out there."
Jesy added that the girls feel the need to release new music regularly in order to maintain their position within the industry.
She explained: "In the pop industry, it’s hard to pause. With pop music if you go missing for more than a year, they’ve forgotten about you."
