Lisa Scott Lee wants Strictly spot

Lisa Scott-Lee wants to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 41-year-old singer has embarked on a career comeback in musical pop group Steps but hopes BBC bosses will consider her for the latin and ballroom show – which has already signed up Frank Lampard – when they look for celebrity talent this year.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I would love to do ‘Strictly Come Dancing’. For me, that is the ultimate show. My grandparents were ballroom dancers so I would love to do that show."
Lisa should be fit and ready if she’s called upon because she’s already started training for Steps’ forthcoming ‘Tears on the Dancefloor’ tour and is loving learning her old routines.
She explained: "There were dance routines to every song and we realised the fans loved it. It was acceptable, they could join in with us and they felt involved and included. I think that is a big part of our success. So we are going to continue with the dance routines and we are looking forward to teaching everyone the new ones on tour.
"The funny thing is, as soon as you hear the music, you hear that song, the dance routines come flooding back. We will take those dance routines to the grave. They are engraved in the memory forever and they are very memorable."
Meanwhile, Lisa said Steps wouldn’t have reunited without all five members – including Faye Tozer, Claire Richards, Lee Latchford-Evans and Ian ‘H’ Watkins – agreeing to take part.
The ‘Chain Reaction’ hitmaker said: "No. We actually all agreed that we would only do this if the five of us were involved. We feel it would water down the success we’ve had if it wasn’t all five of us. It really needs to be the original line up and fortunately everybody wanted to do it so there was no dragging anybody along."
