Lisa Marie Presley changes divorce to legal separation

Lisa Marie Presley has reportedly changed her divorce filing to a legal separation.
The 48-year-old singer/songwriter – who is the daughter of Priscilla Presley and the late music legend Elvis Presley – asked to legally dissolve her and Michael Lockwood’s 10-year marriage earlier this week but it seems she’s now had a change of heart.
According to court documents, obtained by E! News, the blonde beauty is blaming their shock split, which she claims took place on June 13, on "irreconcilable differences".
However, it was previously claimed Lisa had kicked off the divorce proceedings after learning her 55-year-old spouse had racked up a credit card bill of a reported $109,000.
Her representative said at the time the divorce news broke that Lisa was asking the court for full custody of their seven-year-old daughters Harper and Finley.
The actress is not asking her estranged husband for any spousal or child support as she’s adamant she "doesn’t want any of his money".
Meanwhile, it’s not yet known why Lisa has decided to make amendments to her filing, although religious or health insurance reasons may have something to do with it.
However, it may also be that the actress is hoping for a reconciliation.
This is Lisa’s fourth marriage that has crashed and burned; she has previously divorced Danny Keough, with whom she has daughter Riley, 27, and son Benjamin, 23, in 1994.
She was also married to the late Michael Jackson from 1994 until 1996, before going on to wed Nicolas Cage in 2002.
That romance hit the rocks two years later in 2004, she met Michael shortly afterwards and married him in a traditional Japanese ceremony in Kyoto, Japan.
