Linda Lusardi ‘extremely ill with coronavirus’

Linda Lusardi is "extremely ill" with coronavirus.
The 61-year-old actress appeared to tell a fan on Twitter that she has COVID-19, after they asked whether she had managed to send a video message to the supporter’s granddad, who is on lockdown alone in Spain.
But Linda replied: "Sorry Kerry. I am extremely ill with Corona at the moment (sic)"
The fan then wrote: "Oh my goodness! I feel terrible for even tweeting you about this! I hope you are much, much better soon x (sic)"
Several of Linda’s other supporters wished her well.
One posted: "Wishing you a very speedy recovery. X (sic)"
Another shared: "Sending you all our love and hope you feel better soon love you very much (sic)"
And one tweeted: "Take care, Linda. Thinking of you."
Linda has starred in several shows over the years, including ‘The Bill’, ‘Brookside’, and ‘Emmerdale’ as Carrie Nicholls.
She appeared on ‘Good Morning Britain’ just last year to defend Emmerdale’s International Women’s Day episode after ‘GMB’ co-host Piers Morgan described the special as "patronising" .
The ITV soap aired a special ep on with just female characters, and the episode was written, produced, directed and recorded by a female-led crew – but Piers wasn’t a fan.
He said: "Women need men as much as men need women. And the best ‘Emmerdale’ is where you have, as we have now, great story lines involving men, women, great producers and directors who are male and female, camera crew."
But Linda replied: "It’s just to highlight the fact that he have come on so far."
