Liam Payne is planning to release new music next month.
The former One Direction singer – who recently welcomed a baby boy with his partner Cheryl – is reportedly set to release a track in May, the last of his bandmates – Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik – to release a solo offering.
A source told the New York Post’s Page Six column: "He should have a new single out in May. Liam will be the last one."
Liam has been somewhat sidetracked as of late after the arrival of his baby boy.
Announcing the happy news, he wrote at the time: "My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.
"I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true. We haven’t named him yet but he’s already capturing hearts including mine. I feel very blessed. Happy Mother’s Day everyone! (sic)."
Whilst a source added: "Cheryl and Liam are absolutely overjoyed with the new arrival. He is perfect in every way and there is a lot of love and happiness in their household. The whole family are over the moon.
"Cheryl has taken to motherhood really well, she is loving spending every minute with her new baby boy. He is her little Prince Charming. Cheryl had her mum close by and she has been an amazing support."
