Liam Payne says fatherhood has "changed him in every single way".
The One Direction star welcomed son Bear – who he shares with her partner Cheryl Tweedy – back in March this year and admits it has had a huge impact on his life.
He said: "It’s changed me in every single way. It’s the first thing you think about in the morning and the last thing you think about at night … It’s his first Christmas.He’s only going to be interested in the wrapping paper, so buy the shiniest one!"
And the 24-year-old singer is looking forward to the festive period and can’t wait to "eat his own weight in lovely Christmas food".
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about his holiday plans, he said: "My holiday plans are to spend some beautiful time with my son and to eat my own weight in lovely Christmas food. You might see a different Liam after Christmas, and then you’ll see post-Christmas Liam with a new years resolution, hopefully!"
It comes after Liam revealed he is excited to celebrate his first Christmas as a father.
He said: "It’s going to be amazing. We’ve been arranging getting the stockings and the names on them and all that cute stuff. All my family are coming over. We’ll have a big Christmas dinner."
Liam and Cheryl have also learned to communicate with one another telepathically.
He revealed: "He sleeps in our room now, I can feel when Cheryl wants me to look after him in the night even if she doesn’t say it."
