Liam Gallagher is set to collaborate with Johnny McDaid.
The former Oasis singer has joined forces with the Snow Patrol musician in a bid to boost his new solo career, despite publicly labelling the rock band as "Snore Patrol" on social media in the past.
Speaking about the new musical pairing to The Sun, a music insider said: "It’s all set to kick off with Liam, but this time it’s about the music.
"He’s actually been rather savvy, getting on board some established and well-respected writers, like Johnny, despite his negative views on Snow Patrol previously.
"Liam still has the support of the hardcore Oasis following who will be keen to buy his records.
"Whether or not he can still attract other music lovers will be down to his new material."
And the 43-year-old rocker will also go ahead and work with Brendan Benson – who co-wrote Jake Bugg’s ‘Shangri La’ album.
However, the Manchester-born star insists there is no truth to the rumours that him and his brother Noel will be reuniting because his sibling is "too busy being beige" for an Oasis reunion.
Tweeting previously, he wrote: "Listen up no oasis reunion Rkids not into it I am hes to busy being beige new sounds on there way stay cool and most of all relevant LG x …
"Not into jumping onto something that happened 20 years ago it was your idea you massive potato who you trying to kid mr showbizz …
"If I was desperate to get oasis back I wouldn’t be destroying your so called GOD on this ere Twitter no cap in hand MAN YANA LG x (sic)"
Meanwhile, Noel previously revealed he would reunite Oasis – who disbanded in 2009 following an explosive row between the brothers – for one concert for £20 million.
He shared: "I’d do it for £20 million for one gig – that is good money isn’t it? But I have never had that offer from anyone yet."
