Letitia Dean has been getting "strange looks" from younger men following some of her kinky scenes on ‘EastEnders’.
The 52-year-old actress – who plays Sharon Watts on the BBC soap – has revealed she’s developed some young admirers amid her character’s steamy love affair with Keanu Taylor.
She said: "Well, sometimes when I pop into my local little OneStop, I get some very strange looks from young boys – but the people that I’ve seen in my little quiet life have really enjoyed it."
Sharon and Keanu have been involved in some particularly saucy scenes, including making love on the Mitchells’ kitchen table and even using handcuffs in Phil’s bed.
But Letitia has enjoyed shooting the scenes with Danny Walters, who plays Keanu on the show.
Asked about her experience of filming the sex scenes, Sharon told the Metro newspaper: "[It was] very trying! Looking up into those beautiful eyes.
"Danny, on a serious note, was so respectful and lovely – and I just couldn’t believe my luck, really, because he’s such a lovely bloke."
Letitia – who first appeared on the BBC soap in 1985, as one of the original cast members – added that shooting the scenes with the 26-year-old actor was a "really exciting" experience.
Reflecting on their on-set dynamic, the actress admitted: "I loved doing it – I loved working with Danny very much – it was really exciting for me."
