Lee Ryan has deleted his Twitter account.
The ‘All Rise’ singer took to the official Blue page to inform followers he would be shutting down his personal account, @LeeRyanMusic, and that they could keep up-to-date with him from the account he shares with bandmates Antony Costa, Duncan James and Simon Webb.
He wrote: "Life is such a beautiful thing, too good to waste. Follow me & Blue here as I’m closing my @LeeRyanMusic account // Lee (sic)"
The reflective tweet comes in the wake of Lee’s apology in which he admitted to receiving a "wake-up call" following his arrest for drink driving and being found in possession of a Class A drug last month.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I know I’ve let people down. Being arrested and ending up in a cell was the biggest wake-up call to me. It made me realise there is a problem I can’t keep ignoring. I need to do something about."
The former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star was supposed to check into the Priory over Easter weekend following an intervention from his bandmates, but according to reports he will postpone his stint in rehab to perform a gig abroad with Blue.
