Leanne Amaning promised mum she won’t have sex on Love Island

Leanne Amaning has promised her mum she won’t have sex on TV.
The 22-year-old customer adviser – who is set to enter the ‘Love Island’ villa on Sunday night (12.01.20) – is already planning her strategy to find romance on the ITV2 dating show, but she won’t be caught getting steamy under the covers as she claimed "having sex on TV isn’t for me".
Speaking to the MailOnline, Leanne said: "I don’t think sex on TV is for me. Who knows?"
And the rising star has already promised her mum she will be behaving herself on screen.
She said: "But it’s not for me, I’ve already spoken to my mum about that."
Leanne signed up for the show’s first-ever winter edition after graduating from the University of Nottingham, but her mum was surprised she wanted to do the show.
She explained: "My mum found it really random, my dad loved it, but he hasn’t seen the show, so he’s in for a bit of a shock. Sorry daddy.
"My friends all love it, they were like, ‘Leanne you’re not good at anything else, you need to go on ‘Love Island’, show your personality.’ "
And the star has warned viewers she may have a "meltdown" in the villa.
She added: "I’ve already said, I’m due to have a meltdown 100 per cent at some point in there, it’s a completely different side to me. I’m a mess. I’m a nightmare. There’s just no, what’s the word, comfort in me. I just have to let it out. I’m moany, I’m shouty, I’ll start crying, ranting. I’ll be ranting and then yeah half an hour later I’ll be myself again."
