Lauren Goodger "lashed out" at Sam Faiers after her former co-star offered to help her get in shape.
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star has seen her weight balloon in recent weeks but felt her former pal only said she’d help her slim down in a bid to promote her own fitness website.
A source said "After seeing the pictures [of Lauren in a bikini], Sam got in touch and offered to help but Lauren was incredibly offended and lashed out.
"She accused Sam of being patronising and trying to use her to boost her own profile, but Sam insisted she was just trying to help."
And Lauren was particularly unhappy that Sam’s offer came shortly after Lucy Mecklenburgh said in an interview that her former co-star should read her new book for health and fitness tips.
The source added to Closer magazine: "Lauren feels she’s being attacked by the whole of Essex – she thinks Sam and Lucy, who are both a size 8 and naturally thin, have no idea what she’s going through and she doesn’t want their help. She finds it very hurtful."
