Larry Lamb joins Thunderbirds Are Go cast for series three

Larry Lamb has joined the cast of ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’.
The CITV animated revamp of the iconic action puppet show – which focuses on adventures of the fictional International Rescue organisation – will continue its third series in May with an all-star cast coming into the fold for some guest roles.
The former ‘EastEnders’ and ‘Gavin & Stacey’ star will be lending his vocal talents to the show as he provides the voice of Gomez.
He will star alongside the returning Alan Ford, with the ‘Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels’ actor reprising his role as Light-Fingered Fred.
The two characters know Parker from his criminal past, and they want to use the FAB1 car as their getaway vehicle.
‘Absolutely Fabulous’ star Jennifer Saunders will also make her debut on the show as she provides the voice of no-nonsense biologist Helen Shelby, who designed the Supreme Barrier Reef.
Also joining the show as a guest star for the new episodes is ‘Doctor Who’ icon Sylvester McCoy, who will play Aezethril the Wizard.
The whacky and dramatic inventor is the mind behind holographic game park ‘Cavern Quest’, which is based on one of Alan Tracy’s favourite video games.
ITV launched ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ in 2015, with each of the previous series made up of two blocks of 13 episodes.
The third season debuted in March 2018 and ran for nine episodes, and it will return next month for another nine before an additional run at a later date concludes the series.
Last month, fans of the original show were saddened to learn that Shane Rimmer – best known for providing the voice of Scott Tracy in the TV series ‘Thunderbirds’ from 1965 to 1966 – had tragically died aged 89.
