Lana Del Rey’s boyfriend claims they haven’t broken up.
The ‘Young and Beautiful’ hitmaker recently revealed she had called time on her long-time romance with Barrie James O’Neill, but he insists they’re still together.
The Scottish rocker told gossip website TMZ.com on Tuesday night (24.06.14): "It’s not over. It’s not over. Don’t believe what you read, it’s not over. It’s just stories, bedtime stories."
The Nightmare Boy star also revealed that he and Lana, 28, are also still working on new music together and praised her new album, ‘Ultraviolence.’
He said: "We have done for a long time."
He added: "’Ultraviolence’ is ultra good."
Lana claimed in an interview last week that she and Barrie, whom she first began dating in 2011, had split because she wanted to feel "free," but hinted they might get back together again.
She said: "We are currently not together. He is a wonderful person. But there are some things with which he has to deal. I will not explain it in detail. This was hard on our relationship, I no longer felt free. We’ll see how it goes."
The on-again, off-again couple sparked rumours they’d got engaged last July when the brunette beauty was spotted sporting a diamond sparkler on her ring finger while house-hunting in Los Angeles.
