Lana Del Rey shares wistful country song Henry, Come On

Lana Del Rey has shared the country-tinged song, ‘Henry, Come On’.

The ‘Born To Die’ singer has given fans the first taste of her upcoming album, ‘The Right Person Will Stay’.

Lana sings on the wistful tune: “All these country singers / And their lonely rides to Houston / Doesn’t really make for the best / You know, settle down type.”

The album is due to be released on May 21, and is comprised of 13 tracks.

Speaking previously to NME about the follow-up to 2023’s ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’, Lana said: “I’ve maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Bannisters’ or ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, and just more melodic.

“Maybe more American Songbook style?”

The ‘Sad Girl’ hitmaker previously revealed she worked with regular collaborator Jack Antonoff and country music maker Luke Laird on her upcoming album.

Speaking at Billboard’s pre-Grammy event in Los Angeles last year, she teased: “If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country. We’re going country. It’s happening.

“That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

In an Instagram video, she said: “Jack’s [Antonoff] in town, I’m going to see him work on some little songs. I’ve had a really beautiful week with [songwriter and producer] Luke Laird.”

Meanwhile, Lana is set to embark on a 2025 UK and Ireland stadium tour.

She will play London’s Wembley Stadium on July 3, as part of her biggest headline run in the UK.

The jaunt kicks off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on June 23 and includes stops at Glasgow’s Hampden Park on June 26; Liverpool FC’s ground, Anfield Stadium, on June 28; and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on June 30.
