Lady Gaga to release album Joanne next month

Lady Gaga will release her new album ‘Joanne’ next month’.
The 30-year-old singer revealed she has almost completed the record – which she named in memory of her father’s sister Joanne who passed away at the age of 19 – and will release it on October 21.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1 on Thursday (15.09.16), Gaga said: "It’s going to be done in the next 48 hours.
"[My father] was younger than her and she was very sick with lupus. The death of her in his family and in his life, it really left a scar and a wound that never healed.
"The experiences of our families, and our challenges and our toughness make us who we are. It’s all the toughness of the pain that happened as a result of losing her that made us all strong, and made us all who we are."
A track on the album will also be called ‘Joanne’.
Gaga and her father, Joe Germanotta, also own a restaurant in New York named after Joanne and it was recently revealed that they have collaborated on the cookbook ‘Joanne Trattoria Cookbook: Classic Recipes and Scenes from an Italian American Restaurant’.
Travis Jones, the Executive Chef at the restaurant, tweeted: "Head on over and Get your Joanne Trattoria Cookbook full of recipes and family stories! (sic)" and shared a link to pre-order the book on Amazon, ahead of its November 2016 release.
The description on Amazon states that the book is "A collection of recipes and anecdotes, inspired by the world famous restaurant Joanne Trattoria, owned by Joe Germanotta, father of Lady Gaga."
Meanwhile, Gaga recently revealed she feels "betrayed" by those closest to her and said that there is "a lot of rage" present in the tracks on the album.
She explained: "I’ve been betrayed by all types of people in my life and thought an illusion was put out to bait me in some kind of way. There’s a lot of rage on the album. There’s going to be a lot of personal things on that record that are written through the lyrics and the music."
