Lady Antebellum sign up for Las Vegas residency

Lady Antebellum have signed up for a Las Vegas residency.
The country music trio – made up of Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley – are to play 15 dates at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater between February and August next year, and they are "over-the-moon excited".
Hillary told CNN: "We are over-the-moon excited. It’s definitely one of the moments in our career that the three of us are looking at each other, kind of pinching each other.
"I live for those moments to really connect on the deepest level possible with our fans, and so that theater environment really presents that opportunity."
Hillary’s parents played in Reba McEntire’s band for seven years, and the music legend has her own residency with Brooks and Dunn at Caesars Palace, just a few miles from Palms.
The Lady Antebellum singer said: "I have a lot of memories of sitting in front of house on a road case watching that show.
"If I could go back in time and tell little me that this would be my reality, it’s hard to process in the best way."
The ‘Need You Now’ hitmakers will become the first country music act to headline the venue – where the likes of Billy Idol and Blink-182 have performed – and Palms vice-president Jon Gray admitted the band’s "crossover appeal" make them the type of group people will "travel from around the world to see".
He added: "We have recently had some of the biggest country acts play the room – from Zac Brown Band to Chris Stapleton – and this genre consistently does extremely well at the Pearl."
