‘EastEnders’ star Lacey Turner has got engaged.
The 28-year-old actress’ long-term boyfriend Matt Kay popped the question over the weekend and the brunette beauty had no hesitation in saying "yes".
Matt took to his Instagram account to share his happy news, posting a photograph of him and Lacey smiling and her showing off her ring.
The accompanying caption read: "She said yes …. ooooosssshhhhhhhh #fiance @laceyturner (sic)"
Fans of the actress were quick to wish them well on the photo sharing website.
One follower posted: "Congratulations to you and @laceyturner hope you will be happy together forever x (sic)"
While another user, posting under the name xxjenniferwinterxx, wrote: "Yay!!!!! Best news I’ve heard! It’s about bloody time! Love u both xxx (sic)"
The engagement comes in what has been a fabulous month for Lacey as earlier in September she was named Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards held at London’s Dorchester Hotel.
Lacey beat off stiff competition from former Coronation Street star Paula Lane, Hollyoaks’ Jennifer Metcalfe and Emmerdale’s Lucy Pargeter to take home the accolade – with the winner chosen by television viewers – for her portrayal of Stacey Fowler.
