Kym Marsh will vote for ex-husband Jamie Lomas to do I’m A Celeb tasks

Jamie Lomas’ ex-wife Kym Marsh will be voting for him to take part in Bushtucker Trials.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who divorced the former ‘Hollyoaks’ star in 2013 – will be tuning into ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ with their six-year-old daughter Polly and she knows the youngster will want to see her dad "challenged" on the tough show.
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, she said: "Polly couldn’t wait to start watching him on the show and said to me: ‘I want to see daddy eating some bugs. Although he better brush his teeth before he gives me a kiss!’.
"I’ll record it and then fast-forward any bits I don’t think she should watch. I’m not sure how she’d take it if he was trapped with rats or something like that. I know he doesn’t like them!. Polly and I will definitely vote for him to do the trials – Polly will want to see him being challenged as he’s her hero."
Though they are no longer together, Kym and Jamie have a "good" relationship and she’s backing him to be crowned King of the Jungle – though her loyalties are "torn" because her friend and ‘Corrie’ co-star Jennie McAlpine is also taking part on the show.
She said: "Jennie will do well. She’s a tough cookie and we’ll see her take on some tough challenges. Jennie’s a genuinely lovely person and that will be the only side people see – there isn’t another. At the same time, she won’t suffer fools.
"She’s not shouty or argumentative but I think she’ll be assertive. I would love for either Jamie or Jennie to win, but Polly would just be so happy if her daddy won, so because of that he has the edge for me. Jamie to win!"
