Kym Marsh predicts Polly will be an actress

Kym Marsh believes her daughter Polly is destined to be an actress.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star – who has kids David, 24, and Emilie, 22, from her previous relationship with Dave Cunliffe, and eight-year-old daughter Polly from her marriage to former ‘Hollyoaks’ actor Jamie Lomas – believes her little girl will take after her thespian parents, and is glad she is "keen on acting".
Kym, 42, said: "I had to be at Polly’s dad Jamie Lomas’s acting school, First Take School of Acting, for the kids’ acting class open day.
"I went along with Emmerdale’s Anthony Quinlan (Pete Barton) and we did a talk with the kids about how we got into the industry.
"Polly goes to the acting class as well, so she loved it that I was there.
"I think there was only really one way Polly was going to go with me and Jamie as her parents! It’s nice that she’s keen on acting."
The former pop star spent some "quality time" with Polly and her boyfriend Scott Ratcliffe over Easter ahead of him going back to his army barracks.
She said: "Scott’s been on leave but goes back to his barracks this week. It’s been nice having Scott around for the last fortnight.
"We’ve spent some quality time together, which has been lovely."
Kym and Scott went to Gulliver’s World – a theme park based in Warrington – with Polly but the ‘Corrie’ star didn’t go on any of the rides herself because she "hates" theme parks.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "We went to Gulliver’s World with Polly while she was off school and Scott took her on all the rides because I hate them. I just stood with the bags."
