Kym Marsh predicts Corrie return

Kym Marsh thinks she’ll return to ‘Coronation Street’ in the future.
The 42-year-old actress is preparing to depart her role as Michelle Connor after 13 years on the cobbles and though she’s expecting her final day of filming to be "emotional", she doesn’t think she’ll be saying farewell for good because her alter ego won’t be killed off.
She said: "It’s going to be strange and there’s a little bit of nervousness there but I’m ready for it. I want to try new things before I’m too old.
"My last day will be emotional and I’ll cry my eyes out. It’s my decision to go but they’re kindly leaving the door open and I’d like to think I’d go back one day."
The former Hear’Say singer is on the lookout for a role that’s very "different" to ‘Corrie’.
She added in an interview with OK! magazine: "I really want to do something different now. I’d like to play a psychopath in a really dark drama. I want to stretch myself."
Kym’s also gearing up for some changes in her personal life as her partner Scott Ratcliff is set to spend six months away with the army but the couple are determined to get through their lengthy separation.
She said: "I’m dreading Scott going away. It’s not the best feeling in the world but we’ll get through it.
"If you really want it, you fight for it. We try to make the most of the time we have with each other. Even if it’s just one extra night, we’ll travel ten hours to be with each other. You learn to cherish your relationship. We never take it for granted."
The brunette beauty – who has children David, 24, Emilie, 21, and Polly, eight, from previous relationships – thinks she and Scott are "made for each other" and couldn’t be happier.
She gushed: "We’re meant to be together, I really believe that, we’re made for each other.
"We don’t argue, we’re similar, we laugh at the same things. We’re used to time apart but despite that we’re as close as we are.
"We’ve got a lot in common and he loves family, too. Neither of us has to change to please the other. That’s the key thing. And we both feel very supported in what we do."
