Kym Marsh pays tribute to late son

Kym Marsh will never scatter her late son’s ashes.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ star marked what would’ve been her and ex-husband Jamie Lomas’ son Archie’s 11th birthday last week, and she admitted it was "much harder to deal with" than the previous year.
Kym – who lost Archie when he tragically passed away minutes after he was born 18 weeks premature in 2009 – said: "Last week it would have been Archie’s 11th birthday and I found it much harder to deal with than last year.
"I still remember losing him like it was yesterday.
"My parents have a pear tree in their garden in Archie’s memory so we also went and hung wind chimes from the branches.
"It was really special. My sister often goes there to remember Archie; losing him hit her really hard.
"I don’t think grief gets any easier with time.
"I’ll never scatter Archie’s ashes, which I keep safe in a shrine with an ‘A’ card, an angel candle holder and his footprints.
"Myself, Emilie, David and my sister have tattoos to remember Archie by, while Polly still keeps his teddy. Everyone has a different way of remembering."
Last week, Kym attended the premiere of Jamie’s short film ‘Lead Belly’, in which the ‘Hollyoaks’ actor played a homeless veteran and their eight-year-old daughter Polly Lomas portrayed his kid, and the former cobbles star felt "so proud" of her daughter, who she says is a "born actress".
Writing in her OK! magazine column, she added: "We were so proud of our Polly, who played his [Jamie’s] daughter in the film.
"She was really nervous on the night of the show. Although she’s a born actress and I’m happy she’s following in our footsteps, she doesn’t like seeing me or Jamie upset on screen."
Kym paid tribute to her late son Archie in October to mark Baby Loss Awareness Day.
She wrote: "We remember all of those babies who became angels far too soon, and all of the parents whose hearts remain broken. I am one of those parents.
"I am a mummy to an angel baby and I am forever grateful to have had him in my life no matter how short a time."
Kym also called for others to help her "break the silence of baby loss".
She added: "Let’s stand together, lift the taboo and break the silence of babyloss. Sending love to all. (sic)"
