Kylie Minogue wants Queen Elizabeth to wear her eyewear range.
The 48-year-old singer will drop the Kylie Minogue Eyewear Collection, which is exclusive to Specsavers, on February 14 and has admitted she’d love nothing more than to see the 90-year-old monarch to "trotting" around wearing the frames on her face she’s designed with the eye firm.
Asked who she would like to see wearing her glasses, Kylie said: "The queen! Imagine if she trotted out wearing them! That would be amazing.
"I know my mum, brother and sister are looking forward to choosing from the range. Family has first dibs! I’ve absolutely loved designing my glasses collection – I’m very proud of them!"
The ‘Locomotion’ hitmaker – who is engaged to British actor Joshua Sasse – has put a lot of thought into her range as she believes it’s important to look good but to also feel really comfortable in everything she wears – including her glasses.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: "Sometimes I try and manage to do elegant. Luckily with my job I get to wear these incredible creations, but I really love a comfy, casual look. I’ve often said the best thing about getting ready and doing your hair and going out is when you put the dress on and you think, yeah, I’ve got it, that’s going to do for tonight and the next best moment is taking it off."
Kylie recently admitted her fiancé finds her more attractive in her glasses.
She said:" When you first meet a guy and go on a dinner date, you pop your glasses on to look at the menu, not sure how it’s going to go down.
"But I can confirm, they like it. In fact Josh tells me, ‘I think I prefer you in your glasses’. "
