Kris Jenner feared she would never be a grandmother.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ matriarch is "beyond excited" that her eldest daughter Kourtney Kardashian – who already has kids Mason, four, and Penelope, two, with partner Scott Disick – is expecting her third child because she adores her all her grandchildren.
Kris – whose second child Kim Kardashian has 12-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West – told Giuliana Rancic on ‘Beyond Candid’: "Truth be told, there was a couple years ago where I thought if these kids don’t get started, they’re not gonna have any kids. I’m not gonna have any grandchildren.
"But they are on fire right now. You can stop, I was just kidding.
"No, no, the more the merrier around here."
Kris – who also has daughter Khloe and son Rob with ex-husband Robert Kardashian and daughters Kendall and Kylie with estranged spouse Bruce Jenner – thinks being a grandmother is "fabulous" and she is enjoying the new stage in her life.
The 58-year-old star added: "I think that this is probably such an amazing time in my life and how it feels to be a grandmother, it’s like nothing other than I could explain. It’s just fabulous."
