Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley wants to become the major of a town.
The 67-year-old actress was voted runner-up on the UK version of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, which concluded on Monday night (10.09.18), and now she’s out of the house she’s thinking about the future and she believes she has what it takes to go into politics as she’s good at "waving and riding in convertibles".
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I might be able to be a politician but I have no desire to be a politician. Although, you know, I might like to be a mayor of someplace sometime or the honorary mayor I think I’d be a good will mayor in some little town.
"I’m good at waving I’m good at riding in convertibles and I’m good at rallying the people up in the town so maybe I will be mayor at some point."
The former ‘Cheers’ star has been vocal about her political views in the past and didn’t shy away from admitting she is a supporter of President Donald Trump during her time in the house, and despite the complaints made about the Trump leadership she believes that as long as America is not at war he is doing a good job.
She said: "Time will tell, time will tell – this is one thing I will say about Trump and I will say about every American president. The great thing about America is that we have a goal to not be at war and I think any country whose goal is to not be at war will prevail."
The ‘Look Who’s Talking’ actress thinks Trump’s ascent to the White House has been a breath of fresh air in the US because career politicians are not necessarily the best qualified people for the job of President of the United States.
She said: "I don’t necessarily think that having been a politician for a long time qualifies you to do anything other than be a politician that’s my own little view."
