Kimberley Walsh slams Louis Walsh

Kimberley Walsh has slammed "attention-seeking" Louis Walsh.

The 33-year-old singer has criticised the former ‘The X Factor’ judge after he recently branded her ex-Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini "irrelevant," saying he will stoop to any depths to make it into the news.

She ranted: "Louis will say whatever it takes to get him in the press and nothing surprises me. I don’t really have much time for him. I don’t owe him anything."

The music mogul originally managed Girls Aloud when they launched their career in 2002, but she said their relationship quickly turned sour and she no longer wants to have anything to do with him.

She continued: "If you have to be around him, you can get along with him, but if you don’t have to see him then it’s probably preferable. It’s all attention-seeking, so you have to let it go over your head. He’d turn on anyone at any time if it meant it got him into the press."

The ‘Jump’ hitmaker added she reckons the 62-year-old judge will fade into obscurity now he has bowed out of the ITV singing competition.

She told Fabulous magazine: "He was just Simon’s yes man. He did as he was told if it kept him his seat on the panel. He doesn’t have any successful bands any more – ‘X Factor’ was the only thing that was keeping him out there, so hopefully there won’t be any interest in what he’s got to say now."
