Kimberley: Cheryl will be a ‘brilliant’ mum

Kimberley Walsh thinks Cheryl will be a "brilliant" mum.
The former Girls Aloud singer – who is expecting her second child, a sibling for two-year-old Bobby, with husband Justin Scott – is delighted her best friend has found love with Liam Payne and says the ‘Call My Name’ hitmaker has always been maternal.
Though Cheryl – who debuted her growing bump last month – hasn’t officially confirmed her pregnancy, Kimberley said: "Cheryl is really happy. I’m just happy she’s happy. And she’ll be a brilliant mum.
"She has loads of nieces and nephews, so she’s used to the madness of children. Both she and Nicola [Roberts] are naturally good with kids. I think they’ve both always planned to settle down and have a family."
The 34-year-old beauty is looking forward to catching up with Cheryl and Nicola over Christmas, but with her due date growing ever closer, Kimberley expects their celebrations to be quiet.
She told Closer magazine: "We always get together [over Christmas], so the girls will probably come over to see the new baby and have a little catch up, which will be lovely."
Meanwhile, Louis Walsh – who sat alongside Cheryl on the ‘X Factor’ judging panel for a number of years – previously insisted starting a family will make the pop star "really happy".
He said: "I think Cheryl and Liam starting a family will make her really happy. I honestly think she deserves to be happy. And I think this will make her happy over and above what her career does.
"Liam’s a nice guy. I have nothing bad to say about them. I don’t think being a mum will affect her career at all if she doesn’t want it to. It’s never too late. I only wish her the best."
