Kim Kardashian West is reportedly terrified Kanye West could "change forever".
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is reportedly concerned her husband’s recent breakdown will have a huge impact on their relationship that will alter the dynamic between them.
A source told the new issue of Closer magazine: "Kim’s biggest fear is that Kanye won’t be the same person now and he could change forever. She doesn’t want to lose him but worries they might struggle to recover from this ordeal. But her priority is Kanye and she’s determined to be there for him, no matter what.
"She’s trying to come to terms with how their lives may not return to how they were before."
Kim – who was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France, in October – is said to be "on edge" as she struggles to come to terms with the events of recent weeks but is doing her best to be the main source of support to the troubled rapper, who left hospital at the weekend, and their children North, three, and 12-month-old Saint.
The source said: "Kanye is back at home but the situation is hanging in the balance and it’s going to be a long road to recovery.
"It’s frightening for Kim to see her husband in such a vulnerable position. He seems broken. He’s not yet ready for normal life and needs a lot of looking after.
"Kim is not exercising and can barely eat. Instead she prays daily with their pastor and spends most of the day by Kanye’s side.
"She can’t get her head around how unwell he is – she’s so on edge and cries a lot. But she’s hopeful he’ll work through this and be back to his old self soon."
Following the robbery, the 36-year-old beauty is planning to sell her property in France and is currently reluctant to even consider going overseas again.
The source said: "She’s trying to sell their Paris home as neither of them want to go back there after the robbery. She’s too scared to travel overseas and just feels so much in her life is changing."
