Kim Kardashian West found it "really awkward" when Tristan Thompson blocked her on Instagram.
The 37-year-old reality star shared a video last week of the basketball player – who is in a relationship with her sister Khloe Kardashian – altering his social media settings so she could see his posts again and she admitted it was a "spur-of-the-moment" decision to put him on the spot and confront him about the online rift.
She said: "I did [the video] just spur-of-the-moment. I thought about it, I was like, ‘Wait a minute, you have your phone out and this is really awkward ’cause you blocked me,’ and, ‘What’s up? We’re all in the same room again, can I get a follow, can I get an unblock at least?’"
And Kim admitted Tristan – who was accused of being unfaithful to Khloe shortly before their daughter True was born in April – didn’t know she was going to film their confrontation.
But she insisted in an interview with ‘Extra’: "I had to do it, I had to!"
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star – who has children North, five, Saint, two, and Chicago, six months, with husband Kanye West – believes it is important to always support her family.
She said: "I was just raised, you know, that blood is thicker than water and family first, and that’s also what keeps us sane.
"When we have those family dinners and we just get to hang out and be together through all the craziness that we’ve been through, we love each other and support each other, so it’s always just fun to be together and no matter what we’ll support each other, and we know that."
In her Instagram Story post at Khloe’s birthday party last week, Kim could be seen pointing at 27-year-old Tristan as she said: "Alright guys, so, what do you think? It’s Khloe’s birthday, do you think I should ask this guy to unblock me?"
The Canadian basketball player could be seen in the background of Kim’s video, laughing to himself and he then said: "For Khloe’s birthday, I think it’s only right."
To which the brunette beauty replies: "I’m unblocked guys!"
Kim also joked about trying to discover the passcode to Tristan’s phone so that Khloe, 34, can keep a close eye on him.
But the professional sports star admitted: "She knows it."
