Duchess Catherine’s wedding dress designer has met with Kim Kardashian.
The 33-year-old reality TV star is expected to wed her rapper beau Kanye West in May and jetted to London for an exclusive, top-secret meeting with Sarah Burton for her recent bridal-themed Vogue magazine cover.
Discussing the secrecy surrounding her Vogue photoshoot, Kim said: "I mean, I even had to fly to London to go meet with Sarah Burton from [Alexander] McQueen and that was a top secret mission in itself because I landed and all the paparazzi were there. I had to figure out how to get into this office without anyone seeing me."
Kim wore a stunning bespoke customised dress for the Vogue spread, sparking speculation she may follow in Catherine’s footsteps by having Sarah design her wedding gown.
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has previously praised the royal’s style, saying: "Kate seems like a really sweet person and she’s a princess. We love her sense of fashion. She could wear our looks and team it with one of her hats."
Sarah has dubbed designing Catherine’s elegant wedding gown the "highlight" of her career.
She said previously: "She looked so beautiful. She’s got such an amazing sense of grace and style, it was quite easy to make her look good. For me, it was a huge highlight of my career. It came completely out of the blue, it was all very exciting and I felt very privileged."
