Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer ‘closing down dance school’

Kevin Clifton and Karen Hauer have reportedly decided to close their dance school.
The former couple – who worked together for four years on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and split in 2018 after three years of marriage – started their business in 2016, but have now decided to dissolve the business.
According to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column, the pair filed papers this week to legally terminate Kevin & Karen Dance School.
A source said: "Karen and Kevin always tried to stay amicable following the breakdown of their marriage but it hasn’t always been easy.
"The dance school in London was something they had built together but as time went on they felt they couldn’t continue."
It’s said that Kevin, 37, decided to take a step back last summer with Karen, also 37, taking charge.
The insider added: "Kevin stepped back from the business last summer and left Karen in charge.
"But having the school in both their names started to feel strange and they decided it was best to have a fresh start.
"Both are moving on with their current partners and have their own new ventures they want to work on."
Kevin also recently confirmed he was quitting ‘Strictly’, and his ex-wife admitted his departure – and that of AJ Pritchard – has come as a "real shock".
She said: "It was a real shock to all of us, I had no idea.
"We’re definitely going to miss AJ and Kevin. We have such a wonderful team on Strictly. I’m excited to see what their upcoming projects will be."
AJ recently quit the dancing show after four series.
