Kendall Jenner has obtained a restraining order against her alleged stalker.
The 20-year-old supermodel called police when she arrived at her Hollywood Hills home on Sunday (14.08.16) and found Shavaughn McKenzie waiting outside and it has now emerged he has been following her for some time after she was given a court order that bans the man from going near her.
According to TMZ, police reports from the incident at the weekend stated McKenzie was waiting for Kendall to arrive and when she drove in through her gate, he followed and banged on her window, shouting: "Can I talk to you?"
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star started screaming, but the man tried to reassure her.
He held his hands in the air and said: "Hey look, I don’t have a gun"."
But this wasn’t the only time McKenzie had followed Kendall as he previously camped outside her home and chased her car as she left, even running into the traffic.
He has now been charged by the Los Angeles City Attorney with one count of misdemeanour stalking and one count of misdemeanour trespassing.
McKenzie has previously been arrested for trespassing multiple times at UCLA and surrounding buildings.
He could face a lengthy stint in jail over the latest arrest as it reportedly marks two probation violations.
Kendall only bought the house – which previously belonged to Emily Blunt and John Krasinski – two months ago.
She splashed out $6.5 million on the stunning property, which features six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a private swimming pool.
Kendall paid $450,000 below the original asking price for the 4,800-square-foot contemporary-style home.
It is situated on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, nestled in the hills above the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel, and the luxurious living space comes complete with hard wood floors, exposed brick walls, and a rooftop patio.
Thanks to the wide and spacious windows, almost every room in the house has uninterrupted views of the West Hollywood neighbourhood and surrounding nature.
The master bedroom also boasts a walk-in closet which will be able to accommodate the fashionista’s huge array of designer clothes.
Despite her young age, this is Kendall’s second property purchase, after she bought a two-bedroom condo in 2014 for $1.39 million.
