Kenan Thompson has become a father for the second time.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ star and his wife Christina Evangeline – who already have four-year-old Georgia Marie together – welcomed little Gianna Michelle into the world on July 31, with the healthy tot weighing in at 6lbs 6oz.
Gianna’s birth came only a few days after Christina revealed she and 40-year-old Kenan were expecting another baby.
She posted a clip on Instagram of her showing off her bump in front of a mirror and captioned the video: "I’m usually private when it comes to these personal things, but we have less than 5 days until this little girl is due and I am just TEW excited.(sic)"
Before Georgia was born, the former ‘Kenan and Kel’ star admitted he was "terrified" of becoming a dad and joked he’d be "in a casino" while his wife was in labour.
He said: "I am terrified. I don’t know what to do with babies. Like, do you feed it and, like, put it away or something?
"I plan to be, like, at the casino or something when she’s giving birth. Just kind of like old-school it a little bit."
But Kenan later admitted that the older his firstborn got, the funnier she became.
He said: "She makes us laugh, really. She’s the funny one. I try to make them laugh but I think they’ve heard enough from me, just from watching the show.
"Kids are hilarious. They say the darnedest things, but that’s just because they don’t really know what they’re saying, and that just makes much more funniness happen."
