Ken Morley removed from Celebrity Big Brother house

Ken Morley has been removed from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.

The former ‘Coronation Street’ star has been asked to leave the Channel 5 reality show house after receiving a formal warning from Big Brother for using unacceptable language in scenes aired over the weekend.

The official statement about his departure reads: "Ken Morley has been removed from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house for using unacceptable and offensive language following his formal warning."

The announcement comes after ‘Criticize’ hitmaker Alexander O’Neal’s wife Cynthia branded the 71-year-old actor a "disgusting, despicable racist" for calling her husband a "big fat negro".

She said: "This man is not stupid, this man is ignorant. Those words would not come out of someone’s mouth unless they were racist."

Ken had been put up for eviction by a number of his housemates and was set to go up against Alexander and ‘Ex on the Beach’ beauty Chloe Goodman in the public vote but after being kicked out of the house Tuesday’s (13.01.15) eviction has now been cancelled.

The statement continued: "Tuesday’s eviction is now cancelled and lines are now closed. Anyone who has already voted will be able to apply for a full refund and details will be available on the ‘Big Brother’ website within 24 hours."

The controversial star – who was also warned about a number of lewd comments he made about the women in the house – is the second celebrity to be removed from the house since the show kicked off last week.

Jeremy Jackson, 34 – who is best known for playing Hobie Buchannon in ‘Baywatch’ – was forced to leave following an incident in which he is alleged to have groped Chloe, 21.
