Kelly Clarkson was worried she’d scarred her daughter for life after bringing her on stage.
The ‘Since U Been Gone’ hitmaker, who has six-month-old River Rose with husband Brandon Blackstock, couldn’t resist showing off her little girl while performing in front of 18,500 fans at the sold-out ‘Miracle on Broadway’ show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in Tennessee on Saturday night (20.12.14), but hinted her baby girl wasn’t comfortable with the experience.
After proudly showing off her daughter, who was wearing a bright red dress and headphones to protect her hearing, she said: "Isn’t she just the cutest? This is her first Christmas and her first Christmas dress and I just had to bring her out here to show her off. I’ve probably scarred her for life!"
Kelly also revealed she was forced to seek medical treatment shortly before her performance.
According to PEOPLE.com, she told the crowd: "Y’all, I spent all morning in the ER! But don’t worry. They gave me a shot of B12 and I’m feeling great and so excited to be here!"
The 32-year-old singer performed a number of tracks from her 2013 Christmas album ‘Wrapped in Red’ during the star-studded fundraiser, and dedicated the title track to her beau Brandon.
She said: "I had been single a long time and this song was my ‘I’m going to do it’ moment, my way of saying ‘I’m all in.’ "
