Kelly Clarkson praises Carrie Underwood for opening up about miscarriages

Kelly Clarkson thinks it was "so important" for Carrie Underwood to open up about her miscarriages.
The ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ hitmaker has praised her fellow ‘American Idol’ alum for opening up about the heartbreaking events she has gone through as she believes it will help other women who have gone through a similar thing.
She told Entertainment Tonight: "I’m so happy for her! I didn’t know a lot of the situations that were happening behind the scenes … It’s a really cool thing [she did]. I was emailing her, because I was like, ‘It’s so important that you talk about it.’ I know you don’t have to, because it’s a hard thing to do, but it makes women who feel inferior, or feel like something’s wrong with them, it makes them feel comfortable, and [know] that people go through it."
Carrie – who is pregnant with her second child – recently revealed she had endured three miscarriages in the last two years, and said she was left feeling "angry" by the ordeal.
She said: "I had always been afraid to be angry. Because we are so blessed. And my son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing. And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. [But after the miscarriages,] I got mad. [I thought], ‘Why on Earth do I keep getting pregnant if I can’t have a kid?’ Like, what is this? Shut the door. Like, do something. Either shut the door or let me have a kid."
Carrie is already a mother to three-year-old son Isaiah.
