Kelly Clarkson says her newborn daughter is the "greatest thing on the planet."
The 32-year-old singer, who welcomed her first child, River Rose, into the world with her music manager husband, Brandon Blackstock, last week, introduced the tot to her fans for the first time on Twitter today (20.06.14).
Along with an adorable picture of little River, dressed in white and napping in a red pram, she wrote: "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches, and the greatest thing on the planet."
Kelly also announced her daughter’s arrival on the social media site last week and said she was on cloud nine.
She tweeted: "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! (sic)."
The ‘Stronger’ hitmaker married Brandon, who has two children from his first marriage, Seth, seven, and Savannah, 11, in a low-key ceremony in Tennessee last October and previously admitted she couldn’t wait to become a mother.
Shortly after announcing her pregnancy last year, she also predicted she would have a baby girl before finding out the gender.
She said at the time: "I’m totally gonna have a girl. I’m manifesting it. And when I have a girl, you’re gonna be like, ‘That chick knew it!’ "
