Katya Jones ‘to partner Will Bayley on Strictly Come Dancing’

Katya Jones is being lined up to partner Paralympics table tennis gold medallist Will Bayley on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 30-year-old dancing professional – who recently split from her husband Neil Jones – is likely to join Will on the ‘Strictly’ dance floor after impressing during rehearsals.
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Katya and Will have been put together, they are in early group rehearsals and bosses will be looking out for which couples gel. Quite often the pairings do stick."
Will – who has arthrogryposis, a condition which affects development of the limbs – won his gold medal at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Earlier this month, meanwhile, Katya announced her separation from Neil, whom she married in 2013.
In a joint statement posted on Katya’s Instagram account, the former couple said: "Hi everyone. As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news. After 11 years we have made the mutual decision to separate.
"We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
"Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.
"We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx (sic)"
