KATSEYE team up with K‑Pop Demon Hunters stars for surprise Golden performance at Coachella

KATSEYE delivered one of the standout moments of Coachella over the weekend when the Los Angeles girl group invited the stars of K‑Pop Demon Hunters on stage for a surprise performance of the hit song Golden.

Making their festival debut on Friday (10.04.26), the group stunned fans when they launched into the breakout track from the Netflix animated film, before being joined by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — the singers behind the fictional band HUNTR/X

EJAE told the crowd as the collaborator wrapped: “It’s truly an honour to be performing with KATSEYE, guys!”

KATSEYE also performed their brand-new hit Pinky Up.

Their Coachella appearance followed news that member Manon Bannerman has stepped back from the group to focus on her well‑being.

Speaking directly to fans, the 23‑year‑old reassured supporters that she is “happy and healthy” and thanked them for their patience, adding that she feels supported and will share more when she is ready.

She wrote on Weverse: “Thank you so much for all the love and support you’ve been sending my way.

“I’m really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I’m happy and I’m healthy. I’ll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me.”

Fans also noted she had removed KATSEYE references from her Instagram bio, which now simply reads: “mademoiselle manzanita.”
