Katie Price wants to create a reusable pregnancy test.
The 37-year-old star – who has five children from three different fathers – has joked she’s going to try and make a piece of equipment that she can use over and over again to determine whether she’s expecting rather than having to fork out wads of cash on a new test every time her period is late.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ today (18.03.16), she said:
"That’s a good idea. What I should invent is a pregnancy test that you can keep reusing, instead of paying ten pounds for a new one. I might stop having all them babies then."
But, despite feeling smug about her business plan, Katie was later left red-faced when her fellow panellist Andrea McLean suggested that she would benefit from using contraception.
She joked as Katie turned red with embarrassment: "It’s not the pregnancy test that you need… It’s a condom love."
Meanwhile, Katie may already be a mother to Harvey, 13, whom she has with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 10, and Princess, seven, with ex-husband Peter Andre, and Jett, two, and Bunny, 19 months, with current spouse Kieran Hayler, but she’s made no secret of the fact she wants more children.
She said recently: "I’m going to keep going until the doctor says I can’t have any more. I need that newborn again. I absolutely hate being pregnant. But I still want more."
