Katie Price is trying to persuade her ex-husband Peter Andre to join her on the panel of ‘Loose Women’.
The 38-year-old beauty – who ended her bitter six-year legal battle with her former spouse in December – is pushing for the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker to make an appearance on the lunchtime show when she’s sitting at the table as she believes their chemistry and banter will provide great entertainment for viewers.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She’s [Katie’s] up for it, she’s rather excited about the prospect. She knows it would be a huge hit with viewers who are desperate to see them back together – even if it just for the one episode. It’s all depends on whether Pete will agree to it or not."
And, although they haven’t always seen eye-to-eye, it seems Pete, 43, could be more open to the idea now that they’ve put their differences aside and tried to rebuild their friendship.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time Katie has expressed her interest in working with her former lover as she also claimed earlier this year that it would be good if she and Peter co-hosted ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ following the shock departure of Laura Whitmore.
The former glamour model took to her Twitter account at the time to write: "I would sooo present this how cool if me and Pete did it. (sic)"
The former couple met and fell in love on the main show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ 11 years ago, they then went on to marry a year later and have two children, Junior, 10 and Princess, eight, together, but their marriage ended in a bitter divorce five years later in 2009.
Katie went on to tie the knot a further two times, while Peter is now happily married to Emily MacDonagh, with whom he has two-year-old daughter Amelia and has another on the way.
