Katie Price is "glad" her ex-husband Peter Andre is married to someone she gets on with.
The TV star – who has son Junior, 10, and eight-year-old Princess with the ‘Mysterious Girl’ hitmaker – has got nothing but good things to say about 26-year-old Emily MacDonagh, who tied the knot with 43-year-old Peter in July 2015.
Speaking on ITV’s ‘Loose Women’ on Tuesday (03.05.16), she said: "In my situation with Emily I think I am actually glad he is with someone like her because she is a proper lady. She speaks really well, it seems she’s come from a lovely family, I’ve never said a bad word about her. I’d rather it was someone like her than some gobby person."
The 37-year-old buxom blonde also credits Emily for making it easy for herself and partner Kieran Hayler to communicate with them and she insists her children are happier knowing their stepdad gets on with their real father Peter.
She said: "I have to thank her because now the situation with us all talking made a difference. Kieran has always been nice to Pete and the kids prefer it."
Meanwhile, Katie – who also has son Jett, two, and 21-month-old daughter Bunny, with Kieran and 13-year-old Harvey from her relationship with Dwight Yorke – previously claimed she didn’t want to divorce Peter, who she was married to for four years until 2009, and admits they never properly explained their break-up to their children.
She said: "I didn’t want to divorce him. I wanted to be with him. We’ve never spoken about it because certain people got involved. Certain people wouldn’t allow it.
"We’ve never sat down with the kids together or even together to talk things through. We would be together now. But it doesn’t matter now."
