Katie Price befriends Anthea Turner

Katie Price and Anthea Turner struck up a surprising friendship on ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The 41-year-old former glamour model thinks the ‘Perfect Housewife’ star is "amazing" and was impressed with how open she was when they were filming the gruelling reality show.
Asked who she bonded most with, Katie said: "Anthea Turner. She was amazing. I admire her control, her ability to let go and be ok with showing her feelings – mainly fear and panic – on this show. She isn’t a stuck-up prude, she is a life survivor and lovely lady…
"I made some true friends, met real people. In that short time we were a family. I learnt a lot about who I am and where I am going in life now."
And Anthea – who, at 59, was the oldest star taking part – admitted meeting Katie was a "revelation" because she got to know the real ‘Loose Women’ star, rather than her public persona.
She said: "I’ve got to be honest, my revelation from this whole experience was meeting Katie Price and realising how gorgeous she is outside of the other character she has. There’s these two sides of Katie and meeting the real Katie Price was just lovely."
Katie – who has five children from previous relationships – admitted her experiences filming the show has changed her for good.
She said: "I will never take my creature comforts for granted again. I left ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ with new life goals.
"I left the old Katie up there and she’s not coming back either!
"You don’t come back from filming a show like this and just wash it off. It stays with you. Life is one big challenge and I want the world to be a better place for everyone."
Despite finding filming tough, Katie felt very "safe" under the guidance of Ant Middleton and joked he should take over from Daniel Craig as James Bond.
She said: "I think Ant should be the next Bond – I would gladly put my life in his hands to protect me. I have never felt so safe, which is bonkers but true."
