Katie Holmes treats her daughter Suri Cruise to monkey bread on Christmas morning.
The 35-year-old actress loves to indulge in the calorific treat with her eight year old – her only child with ex-husband Tom Cruise – but admits they will only have it once a year, on Christmas Day (25.12.14), because there is so much of the sweet treat that it seems as though it is "never-ending".
She said: "On Christmas morning, we eat monkey bread – frozen bread dough with butter and brown sugar, which you put in the oven until it’s all gooey and sticky.
"One piece is never-ending, which is why you can only have it once a year."
As well as her love of the gooey sweet treat, Katie admitted she also enjoys spending some quality time with her friends and family over the festive period and loves to make sure her Christmas time goes off with a bang courtesy of some fireworks.
When asked what excites her, the raven-haired beauty – who is expected to spend Christmas Day with Tom – replied: "Fireworks – I love them. Being with friends and family. Having big dinners. And Christmas – of course!"
